At Bruntsfield House Nursery we are proud of our facilities, proud of our staff and proud of our extensive curriculum - but most of all we are proud of our children.
Our aim is to provide quality care and education for children aged from birth till they start their adventure at primary school.
We want our children to have the very best start on their way to becoming happy, healthy, stable adults of tomorrow.
We deliver a top class educational curriculum in a safe, warm and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to live in harmony and where each individual child is treated with respect and offered extra support as and when required.
We believe self confidence can only develop with praise, encouragement and guidance. Our staff are trained to recognize enthusiasm, to spot any difficulties, and will act accordingly, thus enabling each child to develop physically, personally and socially at their own pace.
Play is at the heart of everything we do and our team of dedicated professional staff work closely together to provide an educational environment where the children in our care learn almost without realising that is what they are doing.
We hold annual staff appraisals designed to help our team reach its own full potential and of course all staff are fully Disclosed. We are regulated by the Care Commission and Her Majesty's Inspectors of Education.
And now for the business bit:
We are open 51 weeks of the year Monday to Friday 8 am to 6pm.
A 7.30am start can be arranged if required but will be charged for.
We are closed five days between Christmas and New Year but open all other public holidays. This closure period has already been covered in our fee structure.
